My Creative Space

Not much in my creative space this week due to my sewing room being pulled apart to get to the leaky sprinkler pipes. All is fixed and hopefully I'll be back in there shortly. I have found a few moments for some creativity.

Learning how to lace knit, still working at it, going on my third attempt.

Discovering vintage crochet books from my grandmother. I may learn yet.

Please go check out other fabulous spaces at kootoyoo.

All I need in the world to feel good is the sight of circular needles. That blue is just right too. Can't wait to see more.

I'm trying to make a scarf, but I haven't gotten very far! I'm hoping for some down time, without crazy kids, to focus my full attention! :)

Your lace knitting is amazing! And I can't believe that granny squares have been called granny squares for some time... I thought it was a new thing!

I LOVE the colour of that yarn. I'd call it teal, but more green than blue. I wonder if it's my monitor playing tricks on me?

Don'cha just love vintage books. I have vintage music books that belonged to my grandparents. I love the soft browning paper and the old fashioned cursive writing on the front page to indicate ownership.

I love the lace; I must get my Mum to teach me. Great vintage crotchet book too!

I don't know if it's available anywhere but I will definitely share the details. I'll do a whole post on it next week and let you know.
