Over the weekend I found a cute little metal stand that fit perfectly in my sewing room for all my girls stuff. So this week my oldest has been diligently organizing and arranging her already growing sewing supplies at the tender age of five. My heart swells to see her work and it was a very peaceful day as we worked side by side in silence intent on making our own spaces beautiful.
For other great spaces head on over to Kootoyoo.

Sharing the Creative Space with smalls ... lovely.
What a gorgeous stand - long live thrifting! It's cute to have your daughter working by your side. My son is keen to start knitting soon so that will be my next big thing!
that is a gorgeous black tin :D
very sweet! the stand looks great.
Just gorgeous. I'm sure she is going to be so thankful when she is older, that she had such a supportive and crafty mother.
I remember doing the same sort of thing with my Mum. She would make wedding dresses and costumes and we would grab the scraps and make imaginative clothes for our dolls! :)
Me and my mum used to design (draw) princess dresses together. Then me and my daughter have made things together and I am hoping to share with my grandchildren as well as they grow.
So sweet! It's great that your encouraging such creativity. : )
I need your lovely to come and organise my space - mine are to little.
