I have finally had enough of watching my son's pants continually sag as he runs around due to his lack of bottom. And as I was perusing Etsy looking for some cute car ribbon to make him a belt I decided I couldn't wait that long and decided to make due with what I had. I used some cotton webbing as the foundation and folded some Japanese rocket fabric to match, a few D-rings later and a completed belt to keep a skinny kids pants up! An added bonus is I will no longer have to watch him run around with one hand on his bottom trying to keep his pants from falling around his ankles. Now that's what I call success.

hehe! very cute! My daughter has never had that problem, very big bottom, got it from her dads side of the family!!
It's great...& no more teenage "bonds" undie band.
That is definately success and good that both hands will be free to play.. but I hope you took a photo. It sounds very cute!
Oh,we have a no bum syndrome here with miss asha, that belt is a great idea!
Super cute! Funny about the lack of bottom. Too funny. I'm sure many adults would be jealous of that and love to have no bottom and have no need for belts!
What a cute solution. The fabric is gorgeous.
just had a look at your vintage etys shop ... way cool :)

it's gorgeous! sounds like it will do the trick :)
And do tell us why you would want to do it any other way? Great job!

Oh well done! Such gorgeous fabric.
That's REALLY cute. I'm having a duh moment right now (DS doesn't know any other way to run but with one hand holding his pants up, LOL. He's 7!). You've inspired me.
Wonderful! And belts can be so hard to find for boys. Great idea.
