I thought I would do a similar thing so I started a single bed quilt for Cohen (who is 8 months old) so that by the time it is finished he will be able to use it! :)
when my baby turned 7 it was finally time for me to give up on his quilt lol. Good idea to finish it now because before you know it your baby will be 7 too.
Aaawww! Happy happy birthday bub! : ) And look at you go Leslie, looks like your doing a brilliant job. I really want to make two heirloom quilts for my girls but the quilting part scares me.

great to finish it at last, I am just beginning my first baby quilt
better late than never! Love the fabric range, thinking of making my sisters wedding quilt with it, it too is late xox
Beautiful fabric and such perfect lines. And I think we can still squeeze up to a 4-year-old into the "baby" category!
what incredible colors and print...he doesn't know the difference, he will appreciate it more now anyway
I love love love that fabric - I have a pack of fat quarters here and can't decide what to do with it. Time flies with little ones doesn't it.
I spy dragonflies. That's a lovely print. I'm sure the quilt will be even more appreciated as your little one gets older.
Happy birthday to your baby! The quilt looks fabulous :) K
It's looking fabulous, I can't wait to see it finished.
Those colours are a delight Leslie.
It's worth the wait!
They don't stay babies for long, hey? I love the colours... it's something that will stand the test of time. :o)
Funny how time flies when you have kids. The quilt is beautiful and it's always better late than never
I have no clues where the time goes!! but the quilt looks FANTASTIC!!
i know this kind of project! he'll be a lucky toddler, it looks great :)
It's been well worth the wait! I've started a single bed quilt for my son (6 1/2) and I fear he may hit double digits before I finish!
Stunning fabric combination, and I love dragonflies!
i think it looks like a quilt that will be worth the wait. happy 2nd birthday sweet baby
It's never too late to cuddle up with a quilt. I love your fabrics!
