Reading, playing with my three "birdies", creating, listening to vinyl and my husband pounding away on his 1930's Underwood. My life in a whirlwind of thread, fabric, joy, and family. Life is good.

Neat idea. I am fascinated by the fact that you took a year off. Did you miss blogging? Did you find yourself popping on to visit other blogs and then itching to do a post? Do tell!
I did miss blogging and off and on throughout the year I'd see something or make something and think "I should post again" but then life would get crazy and I wouldn't. But I finally felt like with the new year I should start back up again and I'd have to say I'm loving it! It's been a nice bit of sanity for me, something I do just for myself!
i think i get the blog break. sometimes it almost becomes a self inflicted chore. at the end of the day it is just about me and that works. interesting. i love the journal cards idea. welcome back, hope it continues to be enjoyable
